Dato' Mohd Salleh Bin Haji Harun

Dato' Mohd Salleh Bin Haji Harun is the Chairman of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad.  Dato’ Salleh started his career in the civil service in 1971 prior to moving into the Malaysian banking scene when he joined Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad (Aseambankers) in 1974.  He served in the merchant bank arm of Aseambankers for 14 years before assuming a senior management position with Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank).  In 1994, Dato’ Salleh was appointed as Executive Director of Maybank.  During his tenure with the Maybank Group, he also served on the boards of Aseambankers, Mayban Securities Sdn Bhd, Mayban Assurance Bhd.  In 2000, Dato’ Salleh was appointed as the Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia where he served until May 2004.  He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
