To address on the recent concern of Bis-phenol A issue, Titan Chemicals has taken the opportunity to explore and develop an alternative BPA-free material.

Titanpro SM388 and SM488 resin with MFR 10.5 g/10 min and 20 g/10min respectively are the latest addition to the Titanpro PP family which designed and formulated with the latest generation of clarifying agent. SM388 and SM488 give superb clarity and shorter cycle time as compared to the current available high clarity PP grades. Besides, it also has low odor and taste transfer and it meets the relevant US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) criteria.

The new generation of clarified PP allows it to come close to the transparency of high clarity plastics such as Polystyrene (PS) and Polycarbonate (PC). Titanpro SM388 and SM488 is an excellent option for baby bottle and drinking water bottle replacement in terms of cost/performance effectiveness when compared to other clear plastics.
